Smaug Attacks Clip, New TV Spot, and Featurette for The Hobbit 3

Below are three new videos for The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. The first is a clip that shows Smaug attacking Laketown while the Bard tries to figure out how to stop him, the second video is a TV Spot promoting the IMAX version of the film while the last video is called "Memories of Middle-Earth."

Three more videos for The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. The first is the Council confronting Sauron while the second is Thranduil starting his attack on Erebor. The last video is B-roll of behind the scenes moments as they filmed the final movie.

The marketing continues for The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. The first video below is a clip from the movie as Bilbo volunteers for a task. The second video shows about a minute of the battle sequence that ends the movie. The last video is three TV spots one after the other. After those videos five stills from the movie are kind of anti-climatic.

The clips from The Hobbit continue as this next one features a scene that shows a little on how the Dwarves ended up in a bunch of barrels as seen in the various trailers.

A new clip from The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug joins the previous 3 that have been released to help promote the movie.  Considering the movie is still a week out, I imagine this is just the beginning of more clips and TV spots. This one is a confrontation between Bard the Bowman and Thorin as he tries to drum up support to lay seige on Erebus and drive out Smaug.

The marketing campaign for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug is officially in full swing as the cast starts making the talk show runs around the world. Already in the states Ian McKellen appeared on The Colbert Report while Evangeline Lilly visited Craig Ferguson. Between those visits, EW and IGN, we now have three clips from the movie. The first two will seem familiar as bits were used in the movie's trailers. The first is a scene between Gandalf and Bilbo, the second between Tauriel and Legolas while the last is truly new as an Orc shrugs off the threats from Legolas and Thranduil.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is just hours away from its midnight premiere in the States. In the meantime here are two clips from the movie. I believe both have been repeatedly used in TV interviews if they seem familiar. The first features Bilbo meeting Gollum and the second is Bilbo reviewing this contract with the dwarves and not liking what he finds.

Six Clips from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

Six clips from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey have been posted. The first one is Bilbo going over his contract to split the spoils with the dwarves and realizing the adventure could be dangerous, the 2nd is an action sequence as the Gandalf and company deal with bunch of goblins, the 3rd has Bilbo and Gollum meeting, the 4th focuses on the weapons, the fifth is the dwarfs arriving at Bags End, and the last one learning they are being hunted.

Over the weekend the below clip from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey aired on the SyFy channel. In the clip Galdalf hands over Sting to Bilbo Baggins. Sting is the sword that glowed near orcs and goblins that Frodo carried in the Trilogy and given to him by Bilbo in Fellowship of the Ring.
