Fake The Hobbit Leads Casting Call

Spoiler TV has posted what was thought to be a possible casting sheet for The Hobbit that revealed various characters and story points. Listed characters include Bilbo Baggins, Thorin Oakenshield (Heir to Dwark Kingdom of Erebor), Fili & Kili (nephews to Thorin), Gloin (a Durin Dwarf) and many more characters based on The Hobbit. Each listing includes a brief summary of the character, their race and actor age range seeking. The full summary can be found here.

Overall, it does make for interesting reading but as The One Ring reports, "After touching base with more of our contacts, we’ve been notified that this is not a valid list of lead roles and, in fact, some of the roles listed in the links are not relevant."

So the lesson from this isn't so much the fake casting call but what characters from the list (and book) will not make a movie appearance. Time will tell.
