Galadriel Cast in Amazon's Middle-Earth TV Series

The role of Galadriel has been cast for Amazon's Middle-Earth TV series set in the 2nd age. The 3rd Age is time The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings books mostly covered. For the films the role was played by Cate Blanchett. For the TV series the role will now be played by Morfydd Clark (His Dark Materials). That is pretty much all we know. Since a Middle-Earth elf's lifespan is measured in centuries, this version will be (relatively) young so the 20 something casting makes sense. Currently there is no date on when the series will premiere. Nor what the story is about, who it will focus on etc but I suspect it will be essentially be palace intrigue on the first rise and fall of Sauron (he made multiple attempts at ruling the world in his lifespan).
