Cumberbatch Discusses Doing Smaug and the Necromancer

The main bad guy of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug is the dragan itself as played by Benedict Cumberbatch. However, he also has another role in the movie, as the Necromancer, who is kind of a pre-formed version of Sauron.
