Despite being unable to do a panel for The Hobbit, Peter Jackson and Andy Serkis did find time to show up at the 2011 San Diego Comic-Con. Jackson (with Serkis as moral support) was on hand to promote his next project, The Adventures of Tintin, which he executive produced with Steven Spielberg. To read about the appearance, click here but Jackson did comment on The Hobbit saying, "I'm enjoying it way, way more than I ever thought I could".
