A guy named "PresidentChoob" filed a copyright claim against the video so YouTube pulled (automatic process the guy is abusing) in an attempt to get people funneled to his page judging by his twitter and YouTube account. I did file a counter-claim and informed YouTube of the potential abuse of the process. They upheld the strike against my account (with them it is three strikes and your out). Hopefully a live person will review this issue and take appropriate steps but not holding my breath. In the meantime, if you want to see the video, click here instead. Oddly enough, the embed works but the link back to view on YouTube doesn't.

The Hobbit Production Video #1
As promised, Sir Peter Jackson has posted the first video blog from The Hobbit production on his Facebook page. The behind the scenes video is introduced by Peter Jackson on the Bag End set. From there the 10 minute video shows snippets of lot of events having around the production with weapons, costumes, stunt prep, Elrond's chamber and a whole lot more. Best part is seeing the entire core cast (not in makeup), including Sir Ian McKellen around Bilbo's table as they block a scene. The end is especially a moment for The Lord of the Rings fans to geek out on.

First! This was so inspiring to watch. Thanks very much for posting.
ReplyDeleteSecond! Very exciting, I cannot wait for the movie. Also, for the sake of debate, Long Live the Rohan :3
ReplyDeleteThank you Mr Jackson for giving us fans the inside look and launch of the filming of the Hobbit. New Zealand is so far away most of us could not come there to see any of the sets. With technology today the demand for content is great.
ReplyDeleteGosh... it's just like it was 10 years ago ! The same thrilling anticipation !
ReplyDeleteI am already waiting anxiously for the next blog entry (not mentionning the feature realease ;) ) !
I love u Peter
ReplyDeleteSome twit who calls himself "PresidentChoob" stole the above-linked vid, flagged it for copyright, and then re-posted it himself. I hope Mr. Jackson's lawyers have a field day... and to meet PresidentChoob one day across a McFastFood counter.
ReplyDeleteWhat's wrog with video?
ReplyDeleteHope it'll be fixed soon...
yah its like ten years ago, and as most of you like myself have heard 100's of false reports about the Hobbit, even the fake trailers and IMDB post, i nearly did not come here, but i'm glad i did, thank you PJ when this is all said and done, will there be and Silmarillion BUZZ?
ReplyDeleteHey, just want to encourage you to keep it up against that PresidentChoob guy who is being a total jerk. He doesn't own the copyright, and he doesn't get to be the sole youtube distributor just cause he was first.
