Update:: According to various sources, this is a bogus casting call. Do not follow the instructions, your best bet ultimately is to let your agents handling any vetting as there will likely be many fake casting calls for this movie. Additionally, since both films will be done back to back, any committment will require at least a year of time, which will have to spent in New Zealand.
If you are in New Zealand the Acting Auditions blog has posted the details on to submit your headshot and resume information for a chance to be cast in The Hobbit Part 1. The casting is scheduled to begin December 14th, as Peter Jackson had indicated.
